EHRI documents serve as a supporting application for the EHRI document blog which tests new ways of interrogating digital documents and presenting them. This application doesn't contain - at this moment - much functionality and content, but provides structured metadata, transcripts, translations as well as scans of documents used in the blog. It also experiments with map-based visualisations of documents using the Omeka Neatline plugin.
The European Holocaust Research Infrastructure project (EHRI) is an international project aimed at providing online access to information about dispersed sources relating to the Holocaust and making these documents and resources more accessible. EHRI is funded by the European Commission under the FP7 and Horizon 2020 programmes.
