La Paz, 2. November 41.
Mein lieber Hans:
Schreibe bestimmt, Deinem alten
Fredi
PS: Gruss an Deine Eltern!!!

La Paz, Bolivia
La Paz, November 2nd 1941
My dearest Hans:
I was just looking through my correspondence and saw that I hadn’t had a reply from you to my last letter.
I hope that you are well and are still in the same place. Please don’t forget to reply to this address, even if only a couple of sentences, we shouldn’t lose too much contact with people. After this war we can definitely meet up somewhere, the way it is looking at the moment I will be coming back to Europe to take over the branches of the company there. So, until we see each other again, healthy and happy!
Be sure to write, your pal,
Fredi
PS. Please say hello to your parents!!!

Mein lieber Hansl!
