Postcard of Adél Földes, née Pollák from Piliscsaba to an acquaintance in Budapest

Adél Földes, née Pollák (1891-1944/45) was dragged off from her home in Törökőr street in Budapest along with her husband, Ézsiás Földes (1885-1944/45) on November 15. They perished in a concentration camp.

Drága Ányossyné!
Itt vagyok az urammal Piliscsabán. Innen Dorogra menetelünk úgy hallom. Az Évikét ha tudja értesíteni, ő védett házban Pozsonyi út 42 alatt van. A védlevelek ¾ részét nem fogadták el. Nem tudom, hogy mit lehetne tenni hogy hazajuthatnánk még valaha!
Nagyon szépen kérem juttassa el a sorokat.

I’m here in Piliscsaba with my husband. We are marching from here to Dorog, as I have heard. If you can notify Évike [please do so], she is in a protected house under 42 Pozsonyi Road. Three-fourth of the protective documents have not been accepted. I do not know what could be done in order to return us home. I ask you dearly to convey my message.
