K dotazu sděluje státní polic. úřad v Břeclavi dne 15. března 1938 ráno toto:

Během noci neudálo se nic zvláštního, klid nebyl narušen.

Totéž hlášení podává stát. polic. úřad v Mikulově[,] jakož i okresní úřady v Dačicích a Mor. Budějovicích, tento se dělením, že SdP. začíná rozvíjeti zvýšennou činnost a že události v Rakousku mají odraz na mentalitu německého obyvatelstva v pohraničí.

Zemské fin. ředitelství (vrchní fin. rada Stejskal:

Podle zprávy z odd. Poštorná je zesilována všude v Rakousku Zollwache. Zesílené mužstvo tvrdí, že přichází z kursu.

V Cahnově prý bylo zadrženo 300 židů, kteří se pokoušeli utéci z Rakouska.

On request the state police authorities in Breclav notifies on the following in the morning of the 15th of March:
Nothing special happened during the night, the public order was not interrupted.

The same reports were made by the state police authorities in Mikulov as well as by the district authorities in Dačice and Moravské Budějovice. The latter additionally reported that the SdP starts to develop intensified activities and that the activities in Austria resonate with the mentality of the population in the border region. [...]

After the report of the department Poštorná the customs guard was reinforced everywhere in Austria. The reinforced guard assure to stay on target.
In Hohenau allegedly 300 Jews were arrested, who had tried to flee from Austria. [...]
